This page explains, in plain words, what LheureuxCoin keeps about you and what you can do about it. The website sells no data, shows no advertising and sets no audience-measurement cookie: only its server counts visits, from its technical logs.
Who is responsible for your data
Victor Lheureux, publisher of the website, is the controller of your data. For any question: contact@lheureuxcoin.fr.
What the website keeps
- Your account: your email address, your first and last name, your profile (homeowner or professional). Your password is never stored: only an encrypted fingerprint is, which allows it to be checked without knowing it.
- For a professional account: the company name, the SIRET number and the trade if you provide them, and the company profile shown on your quotes (address, insurance, logo, legal notices).
- Your projects: the plans, rooms, fittings, estimates, schedules, quotes, and the plan images or PDFs you upload.
- Your plans: the invitation codes used and the rights they grant.
- Your logins: for each connected device, the browser and operating system, which you can find in “My account” to close a session remotely.
- Your review, if you leave one: the rating, the comment and the first name or nickname you choose to display.
A professional can record their clients' details (contacts, site addresses). They are the controller of that data: LheureuxCoin keeps it for them, without using it.
Why
- To run the service you use: your account, your projects, your estimates, your documents.
- To write to you when necessary: the link to change your password, messages about your account.
- To protect the website and your accounts: limiting password attempts, closing sessions, backing up the database.
- To know how the website is used: overall visit statistics (number of visits, pages viewed, country of origin), taken from the server's technical logs, with no cookie and no tracking from one website to another.
This processing is based on providing the service you asked for by creating an account, and on the legitimate interest of keeping the website safe.
Who it is shared with
- OVH SAS, the website's host: the website and its database run on a server located in the European Union (Limburg, Germany).
- Resend, which delivers the emails sent by the website: it receives the recipient's address and the message.
- Anthropic, only if you use AI plan reading: it receives the image of the plan to read.
Resend and Anthropic are based in the United States. These transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR for transfers outside the European Union. Nobody else receives your data.
For how long
- Your account and your projects: as long as your account exists.
- A trial without an account: it only lasts for one visit (30 minutes without activity end it). It then disappears with its projects, at the latest one day after the last visit — unless you create your account in the meantime: the project is then kept there.
- A session: 30 days, extended as long as you use the website.
- A job moved to the bin: deleted after one month.
- When you delete your account: everything is deleted immediately. If you have signed quotes to keep, the account is first closed for six months, so you can download their archive, then deleted.
- Database backups: the last fourteen, and one per month for twelve months. Deleted data therefore disappears from them after one year at the latest.
- Visit statistics: the hour-by-hour detail for 30 days, the day-by-day summary for 13 months.
Cookies
The website sets two cookies: your session cookie, which keeps you logged in, and the website language cookie (French or English, chosen from your browser or with the language selector) — and, during a trial without an account, a third one saying that the visit is in progress (it expires after 30 minutes without activity). Without a paid plan, a last one remembers the free tutorials already watched (three at most, kept for one year): it only holds their names. They are essential for the website to work and serve no other purpose; that's why no banner asks for your consent. Your browser also keeps a few display settings (plan size, simple mode) and, on a site without a network, entries waiting to be sent: they stay on your device.
Your rights
At any time, you can:
- view and correct your information, in My account;
- delete your account and everything in it, from the same page;
- get your projects back: with a paid plan, through the project backup; otherwise, simply by asking by email;
- ask for a copy of your data, its restriction, or object to processing, by writing to contact@lheureuxcoin.fr.
You will receive an answer within one month. If you are not satisfied with it, you can contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority, cnil.fr.
